Sun-Oracle Servers
SPARC Servers - Solaris - Oracle - FujitsuNEW: Oracle has announced two significant enhancements to the T8 and M8 servers.
- The introduction of 128GB DIMMs increases memory capacity to 2TB per socket, or 64GB per core, double the capacity previously available with 64GB DIMMs. 128GB GB DIMMs are available immediately for the T8 line, coming soon in the M8
- A Dual Port 100 Gb Ethernet Adapter, previously only available in Engineered systems like Exadata, is now an option in T8 and M8 servers. Network speed can be increased 2.5X versus the previous maximum 40 Gb ethernet.
